Singapore last hosted the World Stamp Exhibition in 1995 and the
inaugural World Stamp Championship in 2004. Gathering the
experience of both exhibitions and with effort to commemorate the
Nation's Golden Jubilee in 2015, Singapore managed to bid for the
hosting rights of another World Stamp Exhibition in 2015 successfully,
under the full support and patronage of the Federation lnternationale
de Philatelie (FIP) and under the auspices of the Federation of
Inter-Asian Philately (FIAP).
The Court of Honour is one of the highlights of the Exhibition which
are exhibits of the members of the FIP Grand Prix Club and His Royal Highness - the Sultan of Selangor Idris Shah.
Together with the invited exhibits from David Feldman S.A., Singapore Philatelic Museum and members of the SINGAPORE 2015 Patron Club,
visitors to the show can expect to enjoy the viewing pleasure of the numerous gems being displayed at the Court of Honour.
In an effort to share the traditional honour in hosting this historically important
event in the world
we have launched the SINGAPORE 2015 Patron Club.
The Patron Club membership is open to dedicated philatelists globally. We cordially
invite all interested philatelists to enroll as valued member of the Patron Club.
We look forward to meeting all Patron Club members in Singapore in August 2015.
Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM) is organising the National Stamp Collecting Competition 2015 (NSCC). NSCC aims to promote the study of postage stamps and philatelic materials to learn about Singapore and the world. Stamps are educational tools from which we can learn about the culture and heritage of the country, its flora and fauna, achievements and aspirations.
